I saved a few words
from my morning thoughts,
I kept them hidden
within that last sip
of coffee consumed.
I was reminded of just
how powerful our love is,
your tousled hair and
five o'clock shadow
is more powerful
than caffeine love,
but that grin tosses me
over the edge-

every time I take a breath...
